Abu Dhabi, about 90 miles south of Dubai, rumored to be "the next Dubai" or the next desert playground is under construction. Just one and half hour drive Abu Dhabi city tour from Dubai it becomes a popular day trip to Dubai. I have researching habit, wherever I am going I will simply go to the Google.com and search for that place as well to get acknowledged. During my searching strategy I come to know that most of the tour organizers to Abu Dhabi generally cover the almost the same attractions such as a stop for photos at the Emirates Palace also known as the Abu Dhabi’s “7 star” hotel, grand mosque of Sheikh Zayed, drive down the cornice, the Heritage Village (the women’s handicraft center), and photo shot at the Yas Racing School well-known as Ferrari World. Sounds like lots to squeeze in some hours. We don’t really know what was the truly must see the place is in Abu Dhabi. It is because we are unfamiliar with Abu Dhabi, we had the freedom to spend as little or much time at a stop as we wished to explore Abu Dhabi city tour from Dubai.
Now let me tell you the awesome experience to see the astonishing places. Grand Mosque Sheikh Zayed is the first attraction where we have been. We have seen mosques in Turkey, Morocco, Egypt, and Malaysia. After a while, they all started to look the same. However, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is indeed a special thing, not because it is the 8th largest in the world (it has 40,000 pilgrims!), either because it has the second-largest chandelier in the world, or because it has the largest rug in the world. It's so grand (oh, maybe that's why it's the "grand mosque") and it's such a low-key way! You cannot even see the entire mosque from the entrance, but one thing is for sure: the whole Mosque is a bright, shiny white. In fact, the entire mosque was built between 1996 and 2007 and consists mainly of white marble as well. Once you pass by the door, you see a magnificent courtyard with columns on the left and right sides. Even in Abu Dhabi when hot, white marble remains cold. The world's second-largest chandelier hangs in the main prayer hall, the size of which cannot be ignored. Prayer Hall with white pink and green floral decoration, gold embellishment, sophisticated delicate white, yellow and gray carved ceiling. The carpet below stretches the length of the entire prayer hall. As most guides do, we talk about the five pillars of Islam and let's roam around. Visitors must walk around the prayer hall in a clockwise direction, so we follow the tourists, took a photo of the hall, and then go out. Almost all of the large inner courtyards and the main prayer hall can be seen inside the mosque, and our visit lasted about 45 minutes to an hour. I will never forget this ample Abu Dhabi city tour from Dubai in my entire life. There is much other attraction where we have been but this was the most important to let anyone knows that what the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is and why it is most popular. After seeing this there is much that I did not cover in this article but promise to write something rewardingly again.
